We are undertaking an upgrade to the RISIS system from the evening of Friday 6 March and the weekend of Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March 2026.

The RISIS portal will be unavailable while this upgrade is in progress from 17:00 GMT on Friday 6 March 2026. We anticipate that the RISIS portal will be accessible again from 09:00 GMT on Monday 9 March 2026.

This page will be updated if there is any change to timings, alongside the DTS Systems Status page (https://itsstatus.reading.ac.uk/).

Staff, students and applicants are unable to log in at present. All functions are currently disabled.

All staff are aware of this downtime and that this may affect submission of assignments, uploading of references, completion of application forms, viewing of exam timetables and all other portal-based functions.
